My DStv has been off for a couple of years. Will the old dish still work?+
Often it will, but expect the LNB and connectors to need attention: a few summers of Winelands sun and winter rain take their toll on anything left on a roof. We test what's there first and only replace what's actually failed, rather than quoting you for a whole new install by default.
Can you reconnect if the previous owner left the dish behind?+
Yes, and that's a common one. The hardware is usually fine; it just needs realigning, new connectors and a decoder registered to you. The subscription has to be opened in your own name with MultiChoice: we'll have the installation side ready so activation is straightforward.
Do you repair the wall where the old dish was?+
