CCTV Camera Installation & Repair in Wellington

See your property clearly, day, night and from your phone.

Overview

Peace of mind on a winelands plot or town home starts with cameras you can trust. We install HD and IP CCTV systems with crisp night vision, smart motion alerts and remote viewing, so you can check the gate, yard or shopfront from anywhere.

We plan camera positions for real coverage: not blind spots, set up recording and mobile access, and can service or upgrade an existing system that's let you down.

Good to know

CCTV Camera Installation and Repair, common questions

How many cameras do I need?+
Fewer than most people expect, if they're in the right places. Entrances, the driveway gate and any blind side of the house usually matter more than total count. We walk the property with you and place cameras around how someone would actually approach it, rather than selling you an eight-camera kit for a small plot.
Can I see the cameras on my phone?+
Yes: that's standard now. It does depend on having a workable internet connection at the property, which on some of the farms out toward Hermon and Gouda is the real constraint. If your connection is marginal we'll set the system to record locally and stream at a lower resolution so the app stays usable.
Will the cameras still record during loadshedding?+
Only if they're backed up. Cameras, the recorder and the router all need power, and it's the router people forget: the cameras keep recording locally but you lose remote viewing. We can put the whole chain on a small UPS so it rides through a slot.
Can you repair a system another company installed?+
Yes, and a fair amount of our CCTV work is exactly that. Common faults are water in outdoor connections, a failed power supply, or a hard drive at the end of its life. We'll diagnose it and tell you whether it's worth repairing or whether the kit is genuinely obsolete.
